Can anyone explain this…?

I’m listening to Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio this morning on my way home from Indiana… He says, “You’ve got to go to youtube and type in ‘LSU v. South Carolina, Referee, 10.18.08’”, you won’t believe what you see…

Well, I’m home now, looked it up…he’s right, I don’t believe it.

Can anyone explain this one to me? How could something like that happen and nobody say anything about it?

That ref used to be a linebacker for Kentucky... I guess he just lost his head for a second or something. Hard to believe that actually happened. It didn't really impact the game... USC scored a TD 2 plays later but still, that guy should probably be suspended or fired for that little move. Madness.

based on the quality of the movie i thought the first time i saw this clip (4 posts prior to crossing yours on Googlereader) i thought it was a highschool game. Not that I know it was college holy cow.

But hey, I remember a game against the Boilermakers and someone from the other teams sidelines comes out from the group and nails the guy for a tackle. It would have been a touchdown. Oh we were Not happy about that!!!!

with that said.. i could never be a ref!

i can explain...one day, a long time ago, man and women realized they were naked for the first time and hid from God...and so began a sordid history of sinful acts by mankind. noah even got drunk and passed out naked in his tent. David killed for love. Men had children with mistresses. They built false gods. They did not trust the Lord. Political leaders lie. Major corporations steal money from their stockholders. Kids cheat on tests. And bitter referees tackle unsuspecting players. Plain and simple.

you can tell he was a lineback from kentucky, had he been from Purdue he would have gone lower and gotten the take down.

oh yeah, cause Purdue is widely recognized as being home of the best linebackers in the land.

Linebacker-U I think they call it.
