At Catalyst…

I’ve been at the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta the last three days…

Bill, Pervis and I came early…really, really early on Wednesday morning (4am)…to participate in the ‘Discover the Dream’ morning hosted by New Thing Network (If you don’t know, Crossings is a part of New Thing)

The conference really began on Thursday. If you don’t know about Catalyst, it’s about 12,400 people gathered in the Gwinnet Arena here in Atlanta getting together for 9 main sessions of worship, teaching, and some other kind of wild things. For example, as I write, I am in the first session on Friday and there is an Elephant in the room, and I am not speaking metaphorically. A real elephant…and a donkey. I’ve yet to figure out why…

We’ve heard Andy Stanley, Craig Groeschel, Jim Collins (author of Good to Great), William Paul Young (author of ‘The Shack’), Seth Godin, Steve Furtrick (Pastor at Elevation in Charlotte), and Brenda Salter McNeil so far…

It’s been good…Just don’t get me going on the traffic here in Atlanta…
