Great joy throughout the day…
Yesterday at Crossings was a day of great joy…morning, afternoon, and evening.
It was a great day of worship and teaching at the theatre...and then we went as a community to our ‘baptism castle’ for lunch and a celebration as four people were baptized.The joy was overwhelming as we heard some of the stories…especially Jeanne Brennesholtz.
There were cheers and many tears as Jeanne’s daughter Carol helped to baptize her mom. (someday I’ll share the whole story)
And then last evening…Trevor Lofton and Rachel Yager (our two summer interns) were married downtown. I know all brides are full of joy, but I’ve never seen someone be so overwhelmed with joy in such a way as Rachel was the exact moment the pronouncement that they were man and wife was made…What a great day…
