Jesus as Obi Wan Kenobi…
I love those passages in scripture where Jesus is cornered by a huge, sometimes angry, crowd and they are trying to capture Him or push Him off a cliff or something like that…And then the passage says something like, “And then Jesus walked through the crowd and went on His way…”
Don’t you wonder how the heck He did that?
My take has always been that each time He simply pulled a ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’ by using that old Jedi-Mind trick, kind of waving His hand in the air and saying in a calm voice: “This is not the Messiah you are looking for…”
Well, with that in mind…the picture below, in my opinion, is quite humorous…
