Week ‘O Meghan…
My daughter’s birthday is today…My beautiful little girl turns 13 today at, she reminded me this morning, 9:31 p.m.… (Now don’t make a big deal about her being a teenager, she’s already tired of people doing that)
The thing to know about Meghan is that her birthday has never been just a ‘one day event’. She likes to extend it out over a week or so… She expects two or three birthday cards every day for about a week leading up to October 10th, and the disappointment is great when the mailbox is empty.
It’s really a pretty good idea, if you think about it, if we all could have our own ‘week’...we could probably all use that…

On a sidenote, i thought that you would enjoy knowing that we had a men's retreat this weekend and while we were canoeing we passed this kid and he let out a loud holler at us and one of the the guys who was with us (one who went to the NSC) looked at me and said, "That was a barbaric YAWP". I thought you would appreciate that at least one student still remembers what was taught about. I was encouraged.
