A week with Meghan…
My wife and sons are in Mexico for 11 days working with Rio Bravo Ministries (Caleb & Kelly Baker). So…my 11-year-old daughter Meghan and I have been going it alone all week and we’re having a great time.
We’ve gone to see “Hairspray” (a great movie, go see it), a Smokies game yesterday, and today we went down to Green Magnet Math & Science Academy as school in the inner city of Knoxville.
We helped with a project to get some of the 1st grade classrooms ready for the start of school (August 9th). It’s a project Kristen Smith, a part of the Crossings community, put together for a few people.
In the process I met Green Magnet’s Campus Manager. We chatted briefly about potential opportunities for Crossings to become involved in the school and the variety of ways they could use our help.
Crossings continue to seek the right places in our city to play out this incarnational aspect of our faith that we talk about all the time. We want to look like, act like, think like, smell like (II Corinthians 2:15) Jesus…
I think, maybe, Green Magnet might be one of these places…

It's great that your entire family is involved in ministry in different ways...what a great way to connect and grow.
