It’s not Wrigley, but…

Well, it wasn’t Wrigley Field in Chicago, but it was still the Cubs, sort of...

A few of us went to a Tennessee Smokies’ game last evening (They are the Cubs’ AA team). What a beautiful stadium…

We had a great time: Jake and Emma went on the filed and won tickets and free stuff from Bass Pro shop, (including those cool hats you see in the picture) by catching fish in a big net, Bill guessed right playing “The Price is Right” and won tickets to two or three things, the rain held off til after the game, and the Smokies won in the bottom of the ninth, 8-7.

All this, AND it was NASCAR night….(insert your own exclamation)

We have the AA of the Brewers here in Huntsville, and they are in the same division as the smokies. What's ironic is that the smokies used to the AA for the Cardinals until 2005. I guess they heard you were coming to town! ;-)

That night was fun! We should do it again. Go Cubs! By the way Mark, we can't use the Wednesday night truck race tickets. If you know anyone that likes NASCAR and would like the tickets let us know. There are four of them. (I know you are secretly wanting those tickets - ha)
