Mmmmmm….movie
My sons and I took in The Simpsons Movie on Monday. Really good. I can’t remember a time I laughed out loud more than I did the entire 90 minutes...I can remember back when I was in youth ministry, before I had children, how every person in the Christian sub-culture condemned all that was ‘the Simpsons’ and the irreverence that came with it.
How things have changed…not the show, not the Christian sub-culture, simply my take on it all. Condemn if you will, but I have enjoyed laughing at the ‘most religious family on television this side of 7th Heaven’ for years with my family.
So, have you seen the movie yet? Favorite lines? Are you having trouble getting the “Spider-Pig” song out of your head like I am?
