All I need for worship is...
- It looks like an 80’s mall…?
- There aren’t any signs? How am I suppose to know it’s a church?
- So, the worship space is set up ‘in the round’? So, like church camp?
- They sang two hymns during worship?
- The teaching was 50 minutes long?
- You’re kidding…no ‘Easy Worship’, no ‘MediaShout’?
- So, no worship bulletins/programs?
- Any printed materials they did have were printed with no colors?
- The announcements were in the middle of the service?
- Didn’t that break up the worship experience?
- And you were able to worship there…? C’mon, no way…
Sunday morning I got up at 3:45am and drove from Naperville, IL to Grand Rapids, MI where 13 of us from Knoxville worshipped at Mars Hill Church.
We asked all those above questions and more..
And yes, we worshipped.
Maybe we don't always need what we think we need...

This is so true.
I'm excited about all of this. Keep posting, it's awesome to get to feel a part of it, even living a couple states away!
