"The Second Most Important Day"

For those of you in the Knoxville area...

Tomorrow night, 9/6, COLLiSION will begin for the fall at the Farragut Christian
Church, (138 Admiral Rd, Knoxville) beginning at 6:45...

COLLiSION is a place of...
* Worship that is a beautiful COLLiSION between God and man
* Teaching that is a COLLiSION of truth and grace
* Attitude that is a COLLiSION of reverence and joy
* The COLLiSION of a Living Jesus and a relevant world

Bill Wolf will be leading worship and I will be beginning a study of the book of Romans...
Tomorrow's talk will focus on the first 17 verses of Romans and this thought:

“The two most important days in a person’s life are the day that they are born,
and the day they discover why.”

Just thought you might like to know in case you live around 'Vol Land'...

Mark, now that is so good. "...and the day they discover why." I'm definitely searching for that.

I thought Teen Worship died or went to live in a nursing home or something.

after thinking about this, here are some guesses to your question's answer...

1. the youth owned it...they were the music, drama, etc. you led, yes, but we were a big part of it. our involvement was key. we felt...like we had a place that everybody knew our name. :)

2. it was quality. good teaching. good times. a tight group.

3. we saw God work. how could it not be so great when God was so obvious to us all.

4. where else could be sing remakes of classic Michael Jackson and Eric Clapton tunes?
