Everything's Orange...

Well, I'm back...

I arrived in Tennessee Friday evening (although my luggage didn't...it's still out there in 'luggage limbo land'). It only took me two minutes to know for sure I was back in the land of Volunteers. I saw the front page of the local sports page and saw that all 6 articles on the page were about the UT football scrimmage the next day...ahhh, football in the south.
I'm reacquainting myself with my family, my home (I keep going to the wrong cabinet for glasses), and this beautiful place we know as East Tennessee.

Two huge numbers are at the forefront of my mind on this Monday afternoon...181 & 172.
It is 181 days until we have our first Sunday Gathering for the 'newthing' here in Knoxville...2.11.07 to be exact.
And I have a list of 172 action points (or 172 "Points of Light" as I affectionately call them) that need to be completed before those 181 days tick away...

Whew...okay, here we go...

shalom,
mark

Left behind items..makes me think that you left all of your Jerry Jenkins and Tim Lahaye memorabilia here in the artic north. Funny...

Exciting! Only a few months to go!

172 means you have 8 days to lay around and do nothing before the new thing in 181 days. No sick days allowed.

Welcome home. Please continue updating us on the plant. Also, please pick a new font next time, as this one was barely legible.
So excited for the New Thing and what God is doing for you. God bless you.

Go vols. You're in God's country...don't ever forget that. :)

Indiana, if you're wondering, is his foot-stool. :)

JUST KIDDING.

So good to find your blog (off Pervis' pc website) and see where you are these days!

Have a question -- because I'm a 28 year old Gen Xer/GRUP and live in Denver now -- wondered if you know any good churches out here for that type?
