Mostly just for my mom...

Some more sights and sounds from our trip to Boston...

Around the Boston Common and Beacon Hill...you just 'have to' to visit the inspiration for the TV Show Cheers...the amazing thing was, everyone seemed to know my name.

Monday night we ate some good Boston pizza in the North End with the Hawkins family and then we were treated to the world famous "Mike's Pastries"...from the look on Tim's face you can tell that sugary decadence awaited...

It doesn't matter where we travel...we always seem to find a really good used bookstore, (of course, always with the smells of musty books and cats that make me sneeze)

Today we visited MIT...the big reason: for Michael (getting ready for 3rd year of architecture at UT) to go see a few specific buildings...this one, of course, was high on the list- Stata Center, the work of Frank Gehry.

Fanuiel Hall and Quincy Market yesterday...this site in front of Urban Outfitters almost caused me to spontaneously burst into 'This Land is Your Land", (or was that "Put Your Hand in the Hand"?)

Great photos! Now, ramblin' boy, why don't you settle down? Boston ain't your kinda town. There ain't no gold, and there ain't no body like me. We're the number one fans of the man from Tennessee.
