Still in Chicago…
I’ve spent the last week in the Chicago area…my friend Tim’s wedding (see previous post), a day in the city with my family and Tammy Melchien (pics below of downtown Chicago---one reflected in the ‘Cloud Gate’ in Millennium Park), a day in Brookston/West Lafayette visiting with two families---Costidakis and Schrumpfs. (Pic below of Meghan with Emma Schrumpf...and of the fascinating windmills all around the town of Brookston, very 'Quixote-esque'), a morning of disc golf by myself at the site of the Pro World Championships in Crown Point, IN, (really a great course) and two very full days meeting with the wonderful people of New Thing Network back in downtown Chicago (no pics of the gathering, but of the Cubs game we attended on a nearby rooftop earlier today).I fly home tomorrow morning early…(my family got back on Monday evening)…and then I nap.

Jeph...
I did okay at the course. It was hard not knowing the course at all, it was 7am in the morning so there was no one around...
I played the gold course (the toughest I'm told), and played the short tees on most holes...shot a 10 over. Could probably cut that in half...but again, that's from short tees...it was a great challenge...
Never played Idlewild...I don't know anything about it...enjoy.- at 8:30 PM Unknown said...
I've played that crown point course! It's 10 minutes from Megan's parents' house. I had forgotten about that place. It's tough, but super fun! Glad you got to play it.
