Retreat at Cornet Bay…
We’re back from the retreat. What a great time with students from Western Washington University. Jim has an incredible staff at the INN, it was so good to be with them and all the students and to share with them 'words I wish Jesus had never said'.
The retreat center is such a beautiful place. Here is a picture from outside the cabin where Monica and I stayed.We are hanging out at the Schmotzer’s this afternoon, waiting to fly out of Seattle tonight. We leave Seattle at 11:30pm and land in Tampa, Florida at 10:30am tomorrow morn.
In Tampa we will meet up with our kids and my parents. They drove down from Knoxville on Saturday, (My kids have fall break all this next week)
We are all going to hang out a few days in Lakeland, Florida at my parent’s place.
We are so looking forward to a few days of vacation…I didn’t realize this til last month, but this will be our first time of vacation all year. Church planting has a tendency to keep you running at a breakneck speed…

It was great meeting you and hanging out this weekend. Thanks for being a part of our retreat. I think your speaking was significant for students. Stacy and I also really enjoyed getting to talk with you and Monica on the drive home. Thanks.
