From Bellingham, Washington...
I’m in Bellingham, Washington all week.I’m here with my dear friend Jim Schmotzer. (Monica got to come too) Jim is the director of the INN Ministries here in Bellingham at Western Washington University. We’re having a great time with Jim and his wife Connie.
I’m speaking 5 times while I’m out here…once on Tuesday night at their regular weekly gathering, and then at their retreat on Friday, Saturday & Sunday up near Cornet Bay & Deception Pass, both incredibly beautiful places.
Today, Monica and I driving about 30 minutes north into Vancouver, Canada. We are going to get to see our friends Andrew & Whitney Jones, and their little girl Chloe for a few hours.
We didn’t think to bring our passports with us, but we’re told we ‘should’ be okay. Our friends have told us getting into Canada will be no problem, coming back to the states later today might be a problem.
Oh well, I guess I can learn to like hockey…
