New Thing Network...
I arrived in Chicago late last night (after a 2 hour delay getting out of Knoxville).I’m here to take part in the New Thing Network Pastor’s Gathering (I’m pretty sure that’s not the official name, but you get the idea) If you don’t know, New Thing is one of the organization who helped Crossings come to fruition.
We are spending the next couple of days meeting together, getting to know each other, addressing issues and challenges we all are facing in some way or another. I’m excited to meet everyone and extend and expand knowledge and understanding of this world of church planting.
Oh yeah, and word on the street is there is a White Sox/A’s game in the mix for tonight…Go A’s!

Sorry...I've been an A's fan since 1972...even longer than I've been a Cubs fan (which would be reason enough to root against the White Sox)

I am a Cubs fan, but still root for Chicago over anyone else.
