Thanks for a life of grace...
Time and time again I find myself drawn back to the writings of Frederick Buechner (if you've never read any by Buechner, now you know what to ask for for Christmas).Buechner sums up the heart of his message as a writer and a preacher by saying:
"Listen to your life.
See it for the fathomless mystery that it is.
In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness:
touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and the heart of it
because in the last analysis all moments are key moments...
and life itself is grace."
I hope you all have a wonderful day of giving thanks to God for this life of grace that He gives us...
