The Cultural Phenomenon...
And so it begins...Evidently John Keating's admonition in Dead Poet's Society to stand on the desk has not fallen on deaf ear...
People every where are beginning to stand on their desks...some would call it a cultural phenomenon.
To honor those daring enough to 'risk all' to stand on the desk I will begin to feature pictures of those adventurous souls (actually, it will be just there feet) here on my blog...
Your job, the reader, is to first identify who is standing on the desk (and post your guess on the comments) and then send me pictures of other revolutionaries standing on their desks...(this could be fun)
Send your pics to me at mnelson@crossingsknoxville.com
Thoreau said, ‘most men lead lives of quiet desperation…' Don’t be resigned to that…break out. Don’t just walk off the edge like lemmings, look around you…

I have never seen a desk so free of clutter in my entire life. Do you keep a desk set aside for just this purpose?

Yes, those are the feet of Bill Wolf...for shizzle...
What's up with the 'Uncle Billy' nickname?
And no, the desk is not usually that clean...close, but not quite...- at 7:57 PM truevyne said...
Sniff, sniff. Can't stand on my desk. Too much clutter. Day old 1/3 glass of milk, bottled water, lotion, paper, paper, more paper including gift certificates for my April bday, sudoku books, 2 pots of pens, pencils, scissors, tape, paperclips, m & ms, ponytail holders, checkbook, one uno card, santa ornament in the making. No room for feet.

If you'd like to know where the 'uncle billy' name came from, you ought to ask bill about censorship and youth newsletters...
