$500 for a logo...Anyone, Anyone, Bueller?

Okay, we have a name.
Now we need a logo.

So, how 'bout another contest...and this one's for keeps. $500 to be exact.

We are taking submissions for Crossings' logo. With a October 4th deadline, we are inviting artists from everywhere to take a shot at creating a logo/design for this new church that will launch in February. And the design we select receives $500.
We would love for you to participate...invite people you know that might be interested to participate...in the words of that great theologian, David Letterman, "Wake the kids, phone the neighbors..."
I don't want to give too many guidelines...we want the artist's interpretation. But I can tell you we're thinking simple...
And if you want to know the thinking behind the name, read the previous post on this blog.

Below are the specifics, that are mostly a foreign language to me, but I know is crucial for you to know...

Crossings Logo Contest. Creator of winning submission will win $500. File format: Will accept both JPG and PDF (no larger than 1MB in size, please) for initial concepts, but winning logo must be submitted in EPS vector file format which permits usage of elements separately. Submissions must include both color and black and white versions. $500 award will be paid directly to the selected artist, upon which time Crossings will own perpetual, unlimited and exclusive usage rights, royalty-free. Award will be paid after delivery of final artwork on CD and usability of said artwork has been confirmed. Any similarity between selected design and other submitted designs is coincidental; only the winning artist will be paid for their submission, regardless of how similar another artist's submission may be. By submitting a design, the submitter agrees to these stipulations in their entirety.

               Deadline: October 4th

Please submit your designs to me... 3622 Rochdale Lane, Knoxville, TN, 37931 or markrobertnelson@gmail.com

And in the words of Bartyle, or was it James, I'm not sure...'Thank you for your support'.

Would you like any other text (if any) to be included besides 'Crossings'?

Jessie,

We're not going to use the name 'church' in the title...we do have a tag line, "A faith community helping people find their way back to God"...

Does that help...?
