In Evansville at the NSC…

I’m in the River City, home of the Purple Aces and Riverboat Casinos…the booming metropolis of Evansville, Indiana.

I arrived Saturday afternoon. I’m speaking for the National Student Conference for the NACCM. I spoke Saturday night and tonight and have 3 more talks before I finish up Wednesday morning. (Don't be impressed by the name on the poster, just be grateful they didn't put a picture...)

I have loved being a part of this conference in one way or another for the past 15 years or so…As always, it is held during the hottest week of the year…(maybe it’s just Evansville, but I don’t think so…)

It’s so good to see so many really, really good friends from Campus Ministry days…I think I’ve underestimated the depth of these friendships…I love being with these guys…

(I missed being at Crossings today…but I heard it went well, some odd/crazy things happened throughout the day I heard, but all was well…I think someone finally rescued Lyle Bennett who was trapped by Portable Church Crates in one of the trailers…that’s always good news)
