How I spent my summer vacation…
My family and I are having a fabulous time here in the pacific northwest…
I’m going to try to post some pictures and a few notes every now and then while we’re gone…Thursday, a quick stop in Olympia, Washington for some impromptu hiking at a small falls…
Friday, a tour of the world of Nike…a friend from Purdue, Bari Showell works at Nike and gave us a tour. It’s an amazing place.
Every building named for a famous athlete, here’s a picture of Meghan in the Tiger Woods building…
The best part…we cleaned up on shoes. Bari gave us each a pair from their ‘looksee samples’ (actually, Meghan got two pair). So that’s six pairs of shoes… The boys calculated the cost of the shoes in a store and figured Bari graciously gave us over $700 worth of shoes…
That evening we had dinner at Michael and Bari’s beautiful home…here’s a picture. I married Michael and Bari almost 6 years ago… It was great to catch up with them…
