Ah, a good drive is so good for the soul…
I’m in Johnson City today and tomorrow at Emmanuel School of Religion for an edition of a ‘Church Planters Assessment Center’ (CPAC).
I’m actually here as an assessor…(Don’t even try to figure out how that happened, I’m not quite sure myself)
The best thing today has been the drive over…(left at 5:30 am, and it rained the whole time, but it was still so good)
If you don’t know, I love to drive, I love to take road trips, and I especially love those times when the right CD is on, when I somehow figure out how to worship as Lyle Lovett or Billy Joel sings, and when I have a time of ‘reconnection’ with some ‘driving time’
Today was one of those trips…it’s always good for my soul.
