It’s a good thing they can play football…

You just gotta love Appalachian State U. beating #5 ranked Michigan on Saturday…34-32, in front of 110,000 Wolverine fans.

It’s the first time ever that a Division 1-AA school has beaten a ranked Division 1 school.

Here's a good article about the reaction of ASU's hometown...Boone, NC.

And below is a, well, I guess you would call it a promo video for the school...After watching you’ll understand why it’s a good thing they’re decent at football…

Take special note of the ‘spinning saxophone guy’…

that is crazy hilarious. I love that they got the school choir to sing on that...

You guys should do a Crossings promo that's a take-off on that. Bill and a choir singing "let us show you why Crossings in HOT HOT HOT." That would rule.

Also, one correction... Appy st. is the first division 1-AA school to beat a ranked Division 1 school. There have been I-AA schools beat unranked Division 1 schools before.

Also, Tennessee lost to Vandy a couple of years ago which is about the same thing.

That was incredible. I think JBC could boost its enrollment if they had a promo video like this. . . but only if it had Dr. Enyart in a spinning box.

Growing up in North Carolina I actually have several friends who went to ASU. They actually did not put their best attribute in the video. Most people I know who go there spend more time on the ski slopes than in class. Go Mountaineers.
