A room with a view...
Monica and I are in Boston for the weekend…flew in yesterday and will fly out tomorrow. I serve on the board of Sojourn Collegiate Ministry and we were here for a board meeting all day Friday.Last evening we were treated to a room in the Hotel Buckminster in the Fenway area of Boston. (You can actual see the hotel in this picture. It’s the triangle shaped building just outside the right field corner.) What a view out our hotel window of Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox.
Dinner at Cheers last evening (they seemed to know everyone’s name), and today walking around Harvard has been a great time. We cannot thank the Hawkins family enough for their hospitality.
Tomorrow morning we’re getting up early to go assist Reunion Christian Church with set up for worship. We’re excited about worshipping with this new faith community.
Reunion, like Crossings, is a New Thing Network church plant. They’ve been meeting each Sunday for just 6 weeks.
We’re excited to see how God is helping people find their way back to God through Reunion here in Boston and the Back Bay area of the city.
