God's dream...
Dreams are gifts from God.Vision is the picture God gives of dreams coming true.
In the process of church planting those ‘in the know’ have taught us to lay a foundation for Crossings.
The experience goes something like this:
…first establish what it is you believe about God, about life with Jesus, about what the Bible says about the most important stuff.
…next, based on those beliefs, what is it that Crossings will value most. (See August 3rd of this blog. )
…next, if you live out those values, what will the people of Crossings experience as a regular part of everyday life. (Life Change, Interactive Living, & Reproducing Community)
…then, finally, based on those beliefs which lead to specific values, which lead to experiencing things that directly relate to your beliefs, what will this faith community that God is leading look like?
That, then, is the vision…God’s dream for Crossings.
For the next 10 days on this blog I am going to post the 10 visions of what we believe is God’s dream for us. Each day I am asking our Launch Community (those who are already an active part of Crossings) to define what those visions mean to them.
Check back tomorrow...This should be good.

Marko,
I like the idea of responding to your thoughts over the next 10 days... this should strike conversation not only among the LC, but also with our friends around the world. I look forward to what you have to say about each vision; however, instead of responding to each entry on your blog, I have decided to write my own opinion on my blog
www.thisidiosyncraticworld.blogspot.com. I hope you'll check it out as well. Maybe my ideas will coincide with yours, maybe not... but isn't that the fun of it all?

Mark,
I am so excited for Crossings! I have and will continue to pray for you and the LC through this process.
Please don't forget about us virtual friends that are excited about Crossings.
