Prayer at Exponential…
At the main session this morning, one of the speakers was Matt Chandler. You may or may not have heard of him. He’s a pastor at a large church around Dallas, TX. Good teacher, good leader.He was diagnosed around last thanksgiving with cancer, specially a malignant tumor in his brain. He is currently in a run of chemotherapy and will continue to be treated for a long, long time.
After he finished his talk this morning, Dave Ferguson led all of us at the conference in prayer for Matt. (see pictures)
Matt told us that the doctors have told him this cancer will never really go away’, and ‘will eventually kill him’. He refuses to believe that God is not bigger than that diagnosis.
If you think about it, pray for Matt, for his family (wife and three young kids)…and that God completely and thoroughly heals Matt, and that He, God, gets all the credit.
