A bittersweet day…
Yesterday was our last gathering in the Downtown West Theatre.Since 2.11.07 the adults and kids in our community have been worshipping and studying at this theatre every Sunday morning. It’s been such a good place for our Crossings community.
The theatre has been great…it was the perfect theatre for us. If it wasn’t for this amazing opportunity to move into The Square Room at 4 Market Square we would still be in the theatre.It had so much of what we needed: larger stage area than any other theatre we looked at, no stadium seating, large hallways for Kids’ City, a decent size lobby without a lot of neon lights, and a very helpful and gracious staff. Not to mention, it is the ‘arts theatre’ in town so it was a perfect fit.
