This one’s for Pervis…
I posted a couple of days ago about our friend Pervis and his cross-country, 4,000-plus-mile bike ride to raise money for Compassion International.He began on June 11th in Virginia…(here’s a picture of him ceremoniously dipping his tire in the Atlantic Ocean).
Sometime around the end of July he will finish in Astoria, Oregon.

It just so happened that my family and I were in Astoria last Saturday on vacation. So…we thought it was appropriate to be the first to welcome Pervis to the end of his trip.
Pervis…I know it’s a little early, but we couldn’t stay there for another six weeks…
