Bono at NAACP...
I saw this You Tube clip below on Jon Ferguson’s blog...I played it in Panera this morning and eight people gave their life to Jesus…(not really, but it is pretty powerful)

I repent!
Holy crap, that is amazing. When he says "God is with the women and the child with the virus that will take both their lives" I got chills.
It reminds me of Derek Webb's "I repent."
Powerful stuff.- at 12:03 AM The Adkins Family said...

I just had me some church up in my living room.- at 12:39 AM The Watson Family said...

Marko,
Have you seen last year's Bono/Bill Hybels interview? For Willow Creek's annual Leadership Summit, they had Bono speak (to Hybels in Bono's house) and it was flat out awesome. He says everything he said in this clip.
A pastor who went to see this last year told Willow Creek that he went wondering if Bono was actually the Christian everyone claims he is.
This same pastor said he left from that interview wondering if he himself was actually a Christian.
If you haven't seen it, join up with the WCA (annual membership fee) and they'll send it to you (I think).
Thanks for the clip!- at 7:29 AM Mark Nelson said...
Jeph...thanks for the tip on the Hybels/Bono thing...
I've known of it, but didn't know how to get it...we're WCA members so maybe we can get a copy...

Bono's dead on. (not about Tyra being hot, the other part, though she clearly is) Check out a book called "Make Poverty History" by Jeffrey Sachs w/ a foreward by Bono. It's a little nerdy but it really tells what we'll have to do to end Poverty in our lifetime.
