I’m near Cumming, GA today and tomorrow for a day and a half conference entitled ‘Church Planting Redone”… I’m excited to be here…it should be good. The main session speakers are Perry Noble, Ed Stetzer, & Dave Ferguson.
Workshop options include: Communicating for Life Change, Off and Running: Breaking the 200 Barrier from Day One, Going All Out for the Disconnected, Closing the Back Door of Your Church Plant, Developing a Culture of Generosity.
I’ll try and let you know what I learn…
As good as all of this will be, it’s going to be hard to beat the drive down here on every back highway between here and Knoxville. Sweetwater, Turtletown, Ducktown ('a quacking good place to be'. Honestly, that’s what the sign says at the entrance to the town), and Ellijay were just a few of the towns I enjoyed passing through…man, the mountains of east Tennessee and northern Georgia are gorgeous.
