A Festive Leadership Community…
Leadership Community, our monthly gathering of leaders in our community, is one of my absolute favorite things I get to in our Crossings community. It’s a time of vision, community, sharing wins, dreaming big, etc. It’s for anyone in Crossings that serves and contributes in any way to what God is doing in our community.
December’s version of Leadership Community always bumps up on the ‘fun-o-meter’. We try to make December’s LC full of appreciation for our leaders and some wackiness for all. In the past we’ve had a car rally from Downtown West Theatres (our first location) to the unveiling of our current location (4 Market Square), pictorial scavenger hunts throughout downtown, yellow snow eating contest, etc. Just your typical Christmas Party fare…
This year, after serving a pancake breakfast (green and red pancakes of course), we handed out team shirts (each team representing a famous Christmas movie character) and sent the teams out for ‘slide show’ competition. They were to text us back pictures of themselves acting out famous scenes from either Christmas Movies or Christmas Songs.
In case you’re wondering, Team Tiny Tim reigned supreme over Team Griswold, Team Ralphie, Team Vixen, Team Grinch, and Team Buddy…
Below is a sampling of some of the pics…
