The story continues…

The trailer for the 2nd in the Chronicles of Narnia series came out this week…

Prince Caspian releases in May…

If you’ve never read CS Lewis’ classic books you really should. I didn’t realize what I was missing until I read them when I was 30. I wish it hadn’t taken me so long to get around to it…

How many of you have read the books? Which are your favorite(s)? I’m partial to Horse & His Boy and Voyage of the Dawn Treader…

I didn't read much as a child, so I also got a late start on the Chronicles of Narnia. Two years ago, I purchased the series and read them all within about three weeks.

My favorite is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The story took me so many different places and the imagery that is used, especially in the final chapter, is outstanding.

I think what I love most about the series is that the stories are simple enough for a child to enjoy but they still contain so much depth.

It's been about 8 years since I read them last, but I think my favorite two are Voyage of the Dawn Treader and The Last Battle. I remember reading The Last Battle and thinking of the time when everything will be made right and all questions answered. It reminded me that God has won, and I can take solace in that even when life doesn't feel that way.

May...ahhh the month of good things. The end of school, summer is almost here, and now Narnia! Yes! I love May!
When are we going to see the movie? Could we buy out a theater? Or, buy tickets early, tear down church, buy some corn and pop and then watch the movie? Keep me informed.
